PlotFun Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the PlotFun mobile app and its services ("PlotFun", "we", "us"). By using PlotFun you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PlotFun.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, to use PlotFun. PlotFun includes romantic and mature fiction; you confirm your age when you first open the app and again before choosing more mature content.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google; your account keeps your progress, chats, diamonds and membership across devices. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile > Privacy & data. Accounts left unused for 30 days are deleted automatically, as described in the Privacy Policy, together with any diamonds left in them; while a membership or diamond plan is active the account is kept.

3. Shows, books and AI characters

Shows and books on PlotFun are published by their creators. Characters are fictional personas made by creators, and every reply, photo and video a character sends is generated by artificial intelligence. You can also ask a character to film a short video from your description; it is checked before filming and, once filmed, posted publicly on that character's video wall under your name. AI output can be inaccurate, inconsistent or unexpected. It is not advice and does not represent the views of PlotFun or any real person. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.

4. Rules and zero tolerance

PlotFun has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. These rules apply to everything you send and to every video you ask a character to film. You agree not to:

• use PlotFun if you are under 18, or try to get sexual content involving minors in any form;
• try to get content that promotes violence against real people, self-harm, terrorism or other illegal activity;
• harass or impersonate real people, or share other people's personal information;
• request or post content that is sexual involving minors, depicts real or identifiable people, or is hateful, harassing, violent or otherwise illegal;
• copy, resell or redistribute PlotFun content, or scrape the service;
• interfere with the app, bypass payments or security, or abuse rewards, refunds or ads.

You can report any show, book, character, chat message, photo or video, and block any show, book, character, video or the creator who made it, from its "…" menu or by long-pressing it. What you report or block disappears from your app right away. We review every report within 24 hours: content that breaks these rules is removed, and the user who posted it is suspended or permanently banned.

5. Diamonds, memberships and diamond plans

• Diamonds are a virtual currency for chatting with characters, unlocking paid episodes and chapters, and unlocking photos and videos. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. Diamonds come in three kinds:
  • diamonds you buy as a diamond pack do not expire while your account exists;
  • diamonds from a diamond plan are part of that subscription: each monthly allowance is valid until the next one is granted, and whatever is left of it is removed then. They do not carry over to the next month;
  • diamonds earned from rewards are free and expire 30 days after the day they are earned.
  When you spend diamonds, the ones that expire soonest are used first and purchased diamonds are used last. An episode or chapter unlocked with diamonds stays unlocked for 7 days.
• Memberships (PlotFun Unlimited, offered as 5X and 20X plans) are auto-renewing subscriptions. A membership lets you chat, unlock paid episodes and read paid chapters without spending diamonds, within usage limits. The limits reset every 5 hours and every week, are adjusted to demand so the service stays fair for everyone, and 20X gives four times the usage of 5X. When you reach a limit, diamonds are charged instead until it resets. Episodes and chapters unlocked with a membership stay unlocked while it continues and lock again when it ends.
• Diamond plans are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions that grant a set number of diamonds each month, as described above. They are separate from memberships and do not include usage limits or membership unlocks.
• Memberships and diamond plans are sold through the App Store or Google Play. The price and period are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your store account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and the current period stays active until it ends.
• Replies are charged when generation starts, including when the AI declines or fails to answer.
• We may change prices, rewards and what diamonds, memberships and diamond plans include; changes do not affect periods you have already paid for.

6. No refunds

All purchases are final. Diamonds, memberships and diamond plans are digital content that is delivered to your account as soon as you buy it, so we do not offer refunds, credits or exchanges for any purchase, including unused diamonds, removed or expired diamonds and partly used subscription periods, except where the law requires it. By buying, you ask us to deliver the digital content right away and acknowledge that, where the law gives you a right of withdrawal, you lose it once delivery has started.

Purchases through the App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google, and any refund request is decided by them under their own policies. If a purchase is refunded, we remove what it granted and may suspend the account.

7. Ads

The task center offers optional ads that reward diamonds. Rewards are granted only after the ad network confirms the ad was watched.

8. Intellectual property

PlotFun, its content and its software belong to us or to the creators and licensors who publish on it. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own entertainment under these terms. Messages you write remain yours; you let us store and process them to provide the service.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using PlotFun and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or to protect users or the service. Unused diamonds are lost when an account is deleted or closed.

10. Disclaimers and liability

PlotFun is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for more than the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

11. App stores

These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for PlotFun. If you downloaded PlotFun from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use PlotFun after a change means you accept it.
